Sonic Clocks and Sonic Relativity
Wherein time has no inherent "metric" or measurement unit": Unitless.
All observers in "inertial motion" (when time = zero) believe all synchronised clocks possess the same proper clock readings at a given point in time.
Observers have no means of detecting motion with respect to the medium that they are embedded within and so only see their own clocks as time references.
What this new article reveals - by Scott L. Todd and Nicolas C. Meniccuci - is that in reality:
No One is Listening!
There is no "zero" time - and time is the real ether and is in constant motion relative to all "acoustic observers."
In fact time listens to us!
Noncommutative phase is the truth of time - from quantum quasi-particles as being in two places at the same "zero" time - relative to each other simultaneously.

Because the moving observers think they are the ones who are stationary and that the stationary observers are moving, they believe....clocks in the other chain lay simultaneously....
the simultaneous reception of echoes....results not only in the incorrect separation of clocks within a moving chain; it also results in asynchronicity of those clocks.i.e. noncommutative phase!
It is worth noting that if we had access to devices that were built from quasiparticles [macroquantum] made up from the medium itself, then sonic relativity would emerge naturally. In other words if we assume the empirical truth of quantum biology then we have to assume that sonic relativity is the truth of reality!
