I was wondering if the coyotes I hear howling and yowling up off my land, with the neighbor's dogs barking them off - could attack me. Sure enough the series "I Was Prey" on Animalplanet featured a dude almost killed by coyotes. Then a worker told me to watch out for bears and that show featured a bear attack almost killing a man also.
I haven't seen any bear tracks or scat - but as the worker said - the bear smell capacity is 200 times better than a dog - a bear can smell food from 2 miles away!
