The "small universe" meditation was called the "circulation of energy" by Gurdjieff based on his Law of Three as the secret of the real Pythagorean Logos from the book of John. So your "Star Music" claim is VERY true based on  - NOT the math of Joscelyn Godwin but the real Early Orthodox math of Pythagoras. So in India this was taught as Kriya Yoga - the circulation of energy up the spine and down the front is based on the body as a music instrument with each fret of the instrument as vertebrae of the spine. So there is nothing new for each of us to learn but only the need to drop our egos and to realize this simple yet radical truth of complementary opposites - that also was taught in Africa and is from the original human culture, the San Bushmen, that required all the males to train in this body-music transformation energy. So you were SO close to realizing the secret of real Star Music of the ancients. haha. And now you want nothing to do with it. You put it in your master's thesis and then took a wrong turn simply because of all the lies of the Neo-Platonists that have spread in the West, causing a logarithmic distribution of wealth, a logarithmic symmmetric math as destruction of ecology, etc. and the ancient secret of complementary opposites from noncommutative phase of 2 and 3 harmonics got lost.

So I find it VERY ironic that you claim to be interested in this topic of Star Music alchemical harmonics and you did a whole master's thesis on it! And when I point out a math error that you can not deny, then your choice is to refuse to embrace the subject matter at all! That is called psychological denial and I call it the Alchemy of DeNile. haha. It is a reference to when the Hittites spread the Lyre into Egypt as Monotheism based on the lies of the Babylonians, trying to use this symmetric geometric magnitude math.

Anyway thanks again for admitting the math error. If only you could acknowledge that YES the infinite spiral of Perfect Fifths IS the empirical truth of reality and YES there is an ancient alchemical meditation as the 12 notes of the Pythagorean scale that IS the infinite spiral of fifths based on music as complementary opposites of octave/Perfect Fifth and Perfect Fourth. If ONLY you actually had a real interest in the subject of your master's thesis! The error I made in my master's thesis in 2000 is that I claimed the Tai Chi was based on a logistic equation that was symmetric math. Charles Madden, a physicist who published music-math books contacted me to publish my master's thesis as a book that he would promote at book fairs, etc. But he kept asking me about my math and then admitted actually it was his wife who wanted my master's thesis published! haha. So then I read his book "Music and Fractals" and I realized my error! Madden points out that the Tai Chi symbol can not be a fractal since it is not symmetric logistic math!! And then I discovered Alain Connes, the Fields Medal math professor, pointing out that actually the 2, 3, infinity harmonics is due to noncommutative math.

But Connes himself is biased towards Western music, so he practices Chopin at home, etc. Certainly Ravel was inspired by Chopin, as Helene Gimaud claims, for the long melodies of the etudes that flow, are the inspiration for the long melody of the piano concerto in G, 2nd movement of Ravel. But Western music is actually just an approximation of an ancient secret that Pythagoras had taught and yet this simple secret of frequency as inverse to wavelength or time is still the foundation of Western science. Louis de Broglie's Law of Phase Harmony as quantum relativity was due to his Pythagorean critique of Einstein's relativity that relied on the symmetric logarithmic math that Newton got from Archytas. So de Broglie insisted on the truth, the frequency is inverse to time, whereas in relativity time slows down, gets bigger, as frequency goes towards the speed of light. So de Broglie realized that there HAS to be time from the future  and this is the secret of alchemy! His student Oliver de Costa Beauregard realized this means precognition is real! haha.

A recent study using heartbeat-evoked potentials showed that using paced breathing at a 10-second rhythm increased both the range of HRV and the coherence in the rhythms as expected and also increased the N200 amplitude potential in the EEG heartbeat–evoked potentials, which indicates increased afferent [vagus nerve] input.⁶¹

I did this research for 30 years so if you want to spend a little more time reading the free pdfs I provide, then maybe you can realize just how close you were to the real Star Music - but that would require you rejecting the lies of the NeoPlatonists that fit so easily with "standard" symmetric math science and are promoted by Joscelyn Godwin, etc. Personally I don't like seeing Godwin promote the lies of Philolaus and Archytas as supposed Pythagorean philosophy. So the math error in your paper is only one that I discovered very recently and that is the only reason I discovered your paper on Star Music - because I was searching that ratio of the error! haha.

  For example, there are many studies showing that the practice of breathing at 6 breaths per minute, supported by HRV biofeedback, induces the coherence rhythm and has a wide range of benefits.^111,131-136

  This takes advantage of physiological mechanisms to modulate efferent vagal activity and thus the heart rhythm. This increases vagal afferent nerve traffic and increases the coherence (stability) in the patterns of vagal afferent nerve traffic.

 Thank you Eduard for reminding me of what Edward Rothsein and Erno Lendvai describe as the "paradox of the poles" in regards to the infinite spiral of fifths. In other words G=3=F at the same time, as the 5th dimension as quantum entanglement. The nonlocal consciousness that we call God or formless awareness of the Logos is from noncommutative phase as nonlocality - being in 2 places at the same time!

Linda you wondered where these songs that "randomly" popped into your head came from? It is not random but rather what I call Randy-Om! Meaning it is the kundalini vagus nerve energy of the subconscious become conscious. So this morning I went out to feed the birds - in the snow - with just some felt booties on (boot liners) and so I can feel the earth better. And suddenly i started whistling this song!! And suddenly I recognized the song, with the words AFTER I was whistling the melody (from my subconscious). I suddenly remember the words as "Start spreading the News...." of the song New York but instead of singing those words - I sang the TRUE feeling of the Meaning of my subconscious as, "Start Spreading the Bird Seed" - cause I also throw some bird seed into the snow for the squirrels and I spread it around so they don't fight as much and all the squirrels get a chance to eat some seed. This process is described in the book "The Haunting Melody" by Theordore Reik who was a psychologist in Vienna, hanging out with Brahms and Freud, etc. haha. He also wrote a book called "The Third Ear." Since meditation is really based on opening the Third Ear as much as the Third Eye! haha.

So as I detail in my master's thesis, Helmholtz (and subsequently Lendvai and Rothstein) realized that the reason that the Perfect Fifth has hardly any beats relative to the octave (i.e. 3/2 to 2/1 phase difference) is the same reason that the Tritone has no beats at all to the octave even though the tritone is the most dissonant interval, the Devil's Interval (from 9/8 cubed, as I detail in the link I just sent). And so when we listen to music and get the chills this is called Frisson due to the vagus nerve being activated by the inner ear and thereby increasing dopamine. But the real secret is to go deeper into the Mozart Effect which increases the dopamine into serotonin as a sympathetic dialectical reverse into the opposite extreme of the parasympathetic nervous system.

This activates the Pythias (Snake) or Aion (kundalini) energy known by the ancient Greeks as ionized neurohormones from deep synchronized breathing, synchronized with the slow meter of 1 beat per second as the heart beat. And so as Sir James Jeans realized - the Pythagorean fifths are not a circle (as the wrong Platonic tuning created from Philolaus using 9/8 as geometric mean ratio that you give in your master's thesis). But instead the Pythagorean Comma is due to the inherent noncommutative phase as undertones and overtones at the same time, synchronized by the 5th dimension as the ether or nonlocal consciousness as God. Professor John Curtis Franklin has a new book on the Divine Lyre - that gives the true meaning of the Lyre as "Star Music." So as Alain Connes points out, the logarithmic ratio that you give of 2 to the 19th with 3 to the 12th - it is the geometric mean ratio of subtracting the geometric magnitude of 9/8 into smaller geometric magnitudes but it can never be completed as a process since the arithmetic is infinite as rational ratios. In other words the square root of two, as the Surd, literally means "the unutterable" from this ancient secret of F=3=G at the same time because 3/2 is G and 2/3 is F and this causes a "phantom tonic" to be created by F as the subharmonic, as Philolaus did. The Perfect Fourth can not be created from the Harmonic series since 3 in the divisor is not from 1 as 2 octave for the harmonic series. So Western science has been based on symmetry, up until the quantum physics revolution that undermined the symmetric math as a "discontinuity" called the measurement problem or "collapse" as noncommutative time-frequency resonance that is nonlocal.

In other words it is a mathematical and ontological lie to embrace the Platonic irrational magnitude since in fact there is an inherent order to time in relation to frequency - and Aristotle knew this as well, so he was against the "negative infinity" of Plato and Archytas, whereby zero is created by trying to "contain" infinity using geometric magnitudes. On the contrary - we can only LISTEN to infinity as logical inference of the unutterable - in silience, as Pythagoras taught (and as is experienced in the process of Deep Listening in music training).

So the reason there are paradoxes in Western logic, as math professor Luigi Borzacchini points out in his excellent series on Being and Sign - is due to this ancient music error that Borzacchini calls a "deep pre-established disharmony" that secretly "guides the evolutive" principle of science. Another philosopher of science called it the "music logarithmic spiral" based on his collaboration with Einstein and Esther Watson - I'm talking about Oliver L. Reiser. Anyway so Borzacchini researched this "secret of the sect" as the "negative judgement paradox" that covered up the real music theory origins of Western math! He called this cover up by Plato to be "really astonishing" and "shocking." haha.

So you can read his research on logical paradoxes - like the Cretin's Liar Paradox is, as Gregory Bateson points out, due to the lack of time recognized in Western logic. Since time is asymmetric then the result is changed based on the order. If you have your position first that is proper then you can submit to the truth of the real Pythagorean harmonics. The position that is first is the paradox of G=3=F at the same time so that the "one" is changing position in geometry. So real Pythagorean philosophy taught that One is not a number - since it is actually light as spirit consciousness and the secret power of light, as Brian Josephson discovered is from phase coherence that is noncommutative. In other words the phase noncommutative coherence is the hidden momentum of light that is reverse time energy with negative frequency as antimatter! Sir John Pendry also discovered this as the "subwavelength of light" as a negative mass singularity.

So as de Broglie realized with Pythagorean math, Frequency is to Time as Momentum is to Wavelength and therefore you can have at the speed of light, infinite frequency and positive time and then negative infinity frequency and negative time from the future! And since when you "turn the light around" in meditation this means at time zero there is quantum entanglement that is nonlocal consciousness because light has a zero rest mass but still has relativistic mass as this hidden momentum that is superluminal or faster than the speed of light. That is how the paradox is resolved.
