"The universe and I came into being together; I and everything therein are One."

"If then all things are One, what room is there for speech? On the other hand, since I can say the word 'one' how can speech not exist? If it does exist, we have One and speech -- two; and two and one -- three(14) from which point onwards even the best mathematicians will fail to reach (the ultimate); how much more then should ordinary people fail?">"

Quantum Nonlocality is from eternal asymmetric time as the 5th dimension, or noncommutative phase as the Tai Chi secret (the three gunas).

Why Owls are Wise: How my Spirit Lake Meditation Hermitage became (almost) famous: The Big Year movie

I didn't know a 2013 birding comedy movie featured the bog that is just nearby my meditation hermitage (next to the noisy state highway). haha. I have not gone up north this winter since I don't have a road - so I could easily get stuck in all our snow and ice. I usually bring up a bucket of gravel to add to the clearing I drive into. But the 1st time I stayed there overnight cost me $1000 to get the car fixed after I busted it up, clearing it out of the bog. haha.I spent six hours getting my car "unstuck" but ended up puncturing the gas tank and snapping the drive gear cable. Oops. I did get the car unstuck though. The tow-truck was from this sleepy little hollow (or so I thought)....
Last winter, 2,670 birders visited the center, coming from 38 states and five foreign countries, Stensaas says.

In a Minnesota Bog, a Festival of Birds - The New York Times

www.nytimes.com/2013/01/20/travel/in-a-minnesota-bog-a-festival-of-birds.html
Jan 18, 2013 - Sax-Zim got a reputation as one of birding's holy grounds in Mark Obmascik's 2004 book “The Big Year,” which became a movie starring Steve Martin, Owen Wilson and Jack Black in 2011. In the book, two birders, Al Levantin of Colorado and Sandy Komito of New Jersey, made pilgrimages to the bog in ...
So this bog is now rated the number 1 winter birding site in the U.S. and just had their birding festival.

Oct 25, 2011 - The boggy area around Meadowlands known as the Sax-Zim Bog is mentioned a couple of times in the movie, and Owen Wilson's character spends Christmas Eve in Duluth, having dinner in a Chinese restaurant. Although the scene wasn't filmed in Duluth, the man the character is based on really did ...
I'm always surprised when I discover that I am "trendy" without knowing it. I knew that the bog was a good place to go birding but had no idea it was rated number 1 in the U.S. for winter birding!!

The Sax-Zim Bog is for the birds | Northern Wilds

Feb 16, 2018 - It was even featured in the 2011 movie, “The Big Year,” starring Jack Black, Steve Martin and Owen Wilson. While through most of my life folks often referred to the swamp as “the ditchbank country by Meadowlands,” it now has an official name: The Sax-Zim Bog. Visiting friends and family in Duluth last ...
So yesterday - because we've had deep snow - a couple storms so over a foot of snow - so this Barred Owl was forced to hunt during the day - and chose to sit right by our bird feeder! I was transfixed watching this majestic huge bird - and I moved a sofa cushion inside the house - and the bird could hear me! It turned - to look under a branch and stared at me - and it had not looked that way before - way out of its way.

Turns out Owls have amazing ultrasonic hearing enabling them to hunt better than hawks - in deep snow - since owls do not need to see their prey!!

And we know from quantum biology - ultrasound resonates the brain as a whole as quantum consciousness of the microtubules!! That means Owls really are Wise!

Mar 11, 2013 - One of the big draws of the Bog are the visiting boreal species in the winter from the far north – the Boreal Owl, the Snowy Owl, the Northern Hawk Owl, the Great Gray Owl, and several other bird species. Imagine my surprise when I find out that this Bog, mentioned in the movie The Big Year and featured in ...

Feb 2, 2015 - I am planning on a day trip to Duluth for the Feb 16 event sponsored by the Friends of the Sax-Zim Bog. Although I have already seen the movie and read the book, the combination of a movie, meal, meet Greg Miller and annual membership make it a very good deal with the addition of supporting the ...

The Big Year? Birder discombobulated in bog - Minnesota Brown

minnesotabrown.com/2013/10/big-year-birder-discombobulated-bog.html
Oct 29, 2013 - In the 2011 filmThe Big Year,” Owen Wilson, Steve Martin and Jack Black star as birders (!) trying to break the record for most birds seen in one year. I've talked about this film before because it mentions the Sax-Zim Bog a few times, known internationally as a major bird-watching mecca. As I mentioned ...
I really thought I had moved to nowhere's-Ville - so I am very happy that Birders - of which I am kind of one - not obsessive but I have seen a very rare bird - a VERY VERY rare bird!! haha. The Worm-Eating Warbler was hanging outside my window!!

And so I blogged on how science now shows that emotions in bird song are just like emotions in human language!
