Notes on the XiuZhen Tu

It's a great source of Taoist alchemy information! Thanks for thedaobums "mudfoot" for giving the links.

So one interesting new insight is that the "extreme yin" that gives birth to "yang" at the hour of Tzu - at 11 pm every night and the Winter Solstice - is actually the build up of the Lunar yin qi energy via the perineum aka "the Moon at the bottom of the sea."

So this surprised me - it makes sense - but first of all at the hour of Tzu - this activates the upper tan tien - it connects the front and back channels naturally of the upper tan tien. This is what we know from the teachings - but it is what I know experientially every night as well. I feel the center of the brain magnetic bliss of the pineal gland get much stronger starting at 11 pm. It is when melatonin peaks at 1 a.m.

Actually our body naturally makes more melatonin in the intestines, along with 90% of the body's serotonin that turns into melatonin.

And so in Taoist training the main thing is to "prepare" for sleep - meaning to do the active standing "moving of yin and yang" which then increases the electrical conductivity by 15% just from 15 minutes of practice! I mean it is more, as you advance in training, but that is the secret of the dragon and tiger energy.

So dragon (as lead, the girl) and tiger (as metal, the boy) energy as yin qi energy then "copulate" or merge in the third eye along with the shen that emanates there from the heart - and this then builds up the yuan qi energy from the Emptiness.

But it has to be returned or purified back to the lower tan tien and stored there as "shen" below the "jing" to create the yuan qi. And this is why the Ming-men is in front of the kidneys as the alchemical "true" lower tan tien.

Also people frequently report a sweet fragrance flower smell around the qigong master and wonder where this comes from. According to this text - that smell is from the ambrosia itself being created in the upper tan tien alchemical third eye!

So also the spleen as Earth has its meridian energy going up the body and this then "supports" the other yin organs - and so the spleen is yellow since that is the color of the Yellow Emperor while shen spirit light of the other organs are the "governors" of the state.

The spleen is on the right side of the liver while the pancreas is more directly below the liver and the gall bladder on the other side. But it is the liver that is the main source for the qi energy while the lungs provide the physical force to power the qi (through the deep breathing). The qi energy then goes out the eyes via the heart and pineal gland - and so eating lots of green food then cleans the blood and causes my eyes to turn a deeper green color!

The energy is powered by quantum frequency as light energy - so green is wisdom but the qigong master says anger is a black color and anger is a liver blockage. Blue is the water color of the kidneys while red is the color of the heart and so the pancreas-spleen has yellow and purple, as a mix of the water and fire energy.

So then at the hour of Tzu - if we are able to convert the yin jing energy into yang jing (yin qi) by clearing out the perineum blockage and raising the frequency of the energy - then we will see lights while meditating - in the third eye.

It is then stated when the qi as intention is focused with no thoughts or just one thought concentrated, then the shen will achieve luminosity and then shen will be "turned around" and the shen will be gathered and built up.

That's all for now!
